Privacy Policy
The short version: Rally Tally keeps your data on your own device. Signing in with Google or Apple for cloud backup is optional; the app works fully without it. We don't track you, show ads, or sell any personal information.
What we store
Everything you create in the app (teams, rosters, any player photos you add, game stats, tournament and season totals, and your settings) is saved locally on your device. It stays on your phone unless you export it or turn on cloud backup.
Optional cloud backup
If you choose to sign in with Google or with Apple, Rally Tally backs your data up to the cloud (including any player photos you have added), so you can restore it or move to a new device. Signing in is optional: the app works fully without it, and nothing is uploaded until you turn backup on. Your sign-in and backup are handled through Google Firebase, used only to authenticate you and store your own backup, never to track you or for advertising. You can sign out at any time, and Sign in with Apple lets you hide your email address if you prefer.
What we don't do
- No required account: everything works without signing in.
- No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking.
- No location tracking or device fingerprinting.
- No selling or sharing of data, there's nothing to sell.
Data you export
When you use the CSV export feature, a file is created and handed to your device so you can save or share it however you like. What happens to that file afterward is entirely up to you.
Hosting
The apps and this site are served as static files. Like any website, the host may keep standard, anonymized server logs (such as request timestamps) for security and reliability. These logs are not used to identify or profile you.
Children
Rally Tally is designed for players, coaches, and teams of any age. Unless you choose to sign in for cloud backup, the app collects no personal information at all. If you do sign in, the only personal data involved is the account identifier from your Google or Apple sign-in, used solely to store your own backup. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond this optional sign-in.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated date above will change with it. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
